Nyungwe National Park is the largest indigenous rainforest in Rwanda and home to several troops of Chimpanzee and twelve different species of monkey. The steep hills and valleys of Nyungwe coupled with the growing tourism in the country made it the perfect location for a series of giant ziplines across the forest.
The Nyungwe ziplines consist of three separate stages, with each zipline starting and ending on platforms build within the forest. The ziplines have been designed so that the next one is a little longer than the last, culminating in a giant 1km zipline down the valley and ending in the vicinity of the treetop Canopy Walkway.
Guests are able to stop and relax at each platform and enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest all around them before getting ready for the next adrenalin ride. Local forest guides escort each group and ensure an immersive and interesting forest experience.
